“ETCON” was begun in September 2013. At Hope For 100 we had felt for some time that it would be a really great asset to have a regular forum where all of us involved in orphan care in our local area could come together to bounce ideas and perhaps launch new initiatives. It takes time to break ice- and we hoped that organizations and ministries would see a network of this kind as a place where reationships could be built. In reality, the more we relate to one another, the more we can unify our efforts. What makes this initiative different is that we have a biblical mandate at our core to care for the orphan–as opposed to just a good cause. We are praying that, as time goes on, God will bring some really great things out of ETCON.
For the time being we will using this page to keep you updated as the network develops.
– Following our meeting at Green Acres on 6th May, the next thing on the agenda is for us to arrange a more formal application for membership for those organizations interested in in being represented in the network.
